A colorful reunion fair was organized with students under the initiative of the Bangladesh Branch of Inter Island Training and Testing Centre, an institution operating with the objective of exporting skilled manpower to Singapore.

The program began at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 24, at the centre’s own premises located at the National University’s Kamarjuri, Baganbari Campus in the Gacha area of Gazipur. The event formally started with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an.

Addressing the students with guidance-oriented speeches were the institution’s Chief Advisor Fayezur Rahman Asad, Advisor Imtiaz Hossain, Migration Researcher Md. Raisul Islam, and Managing Director (MD) Iftekhar Hossain Chowdhury. The entire program was conducted by the institution’s Manager, Md. Abdul Kayyum.

In his speech, Chief Advisor Fayezur Rahman Asad said, “To work in a developed country like Singapore, technical skills alone are not enough; discipline, punctuality, and a professional attitude are extremely important. Inter Island Centre is committed to preparing students to international standards.”

Advisor Imtiaz Hossain stated, “Responsibility does not end with the completion of training. Mental and moral preparation on how to sustain oneself abroad is equally essential. Events like this reunion fair help boost students’ confidence.”

Migration Researcher Md. Raisul Islam highlighted the importance of safe migration, saying,
“Proper training and following legal procedures reduce risks when going abroad. Skilled manpower is the greatest asset of our country.”

MD Iftekhar Hossain Chowdhury said, “Our goal is ‘Train Hard, Fight Easy.’ The practical, hands-on training students receive here will help them succeed in the international job market.”

After the discussion session, a lively question-and-answer segment was held with student participation. This was followed by a lunch program. In the final part of the event, students presented songs and various cultural performances, which made the reunion fair even more joyful and lively.

The organizers stated that the purpose of arranging this reunion fair was to strengthen mutual bonding among students, inspire them, and mentally prepare them for their future professional careers.
